Massage Menu

If you regard the occasional massage as a bit of self-indulgence, it’s time to relax. According to a new study into the effects of touch on our general wellbeing, all of us need a massage regularly.

Modern life—with its growing emphasis on single living—is turning us into touch-starved individuals, according to the Oxford University study which concluded that we need to stimulate our senses if we are to stay healthy. The study also notes that as our senses age, we need more, not less, stimulation.

Our largest organ, skin, constitutes about 20 per cent of our bodies. It’s been found that a massage helps to elevate the levels of the hormone oxytocin—the “relaxation” hormone—while reducing levels of cortisol, the “stress” hormone.

We have a superior range of massage treatments in our menu and we can recommend a programme best suited to your needs.

For more information please click on any of the massages below.

Back Therapy   Many of my clients have varying degrees of problems with their back and neck. Our modern lifestyle based around the computer has us sitting down and stooped for much of the day. New mothers too experience back pain with the constant effort of lifting and carrying the baby.
Corrective Massage   Is a unique combination of muscle, ligament, and tendon manipulation and mobilisation combined in a soft and deep massage treatment. It enables the return of full and effective movement in most cases.
Deep Tissue   Our deep tissue massage is great if you need to relieve tight muscles at the neck, shoulders, arms, back, legs and backside and prevents that tightness from reducing circulation and restricting nourishment in those muscles.
Foot Massage   Thumb and palm pressure combined with stretching is used to achieve this deep massage that is calming and restorative to tired aching feet. Result: happy feet.
Hot Rock   This thermal therapy massage technique is sweeping American and European Day Spas. We have the first fully qualified and most experienced La Stone therapist in Australia.
Pregnancy   While pregnancy is a joyous time, increased hormone levels, weight gain and shifting posture can also place a lot of strain on expectant mothers both physically and emotionally.
RegularHit   A massage program specifically designed for clients who want to maximise their energy levels, improve general wellbeing, and reduce stress, constipation, aches and pains.
Party Time   Tired of all the old ways of getting together with your friends or colleagues? Drinks at the local getting a bit boring.
Relaxation   A beautiful way to relax and restore lost energy.
