We are very, very excited to introduce the amazing HypeO2 Oxygen Therapy to our range of services. We feel this treatment is one of the most important we have ever introduced. Its benefits are wide ranging and it is suitable for all sorts of ailments.
 |
The HypeO2 is a state of the art Australian made hyperbaric chamber which is filled with ambient air, through an oxygen concentrator, to a pressure of 4 pounds PSI. The process follows the follows the laws of physics, in which an increase in atmospheric pressure allows more oxygen to dissolve in blood plasma and other vital fluids, saturating cells and tissues throughout the body. |
It is completely safe; once inside the chamber clients are able to maintain full visual and verbal communication with our professional staff. The chamber is exceptionally roomy, allowing clients to stretch out and relax while reading a book, listening to music, meditating or even taking a nap while the oxygen bestows its many benefits.
"Gina suggested I have a series of oxygen treatments to improve my general health and wellbeing and I have been most impressed. I was a little concerned with being in a confined space, because I suffer from mild claustrophobia, but didn’t have any problems. The chamber is large, very comfortable and Gina’s staff kept a close eye on me. The windows in the chamber make it a light and non-confined place to be. I tried to read a book but became so relaxed so quickly that I only got through a page before I nodded off. I have had four treatments so far and can say that it is a worthwhile experience, which has resulted in me feeling more relaxed and connected. I can recommend it - Tony Eastmead”
Oxygen Therapy
More important than food or water, oxygen is the most vital element in sustaining human life. Oxygen feeds the cells of your body as well as providing protection against a wide variety of harmful agents.
Every cell in the body needs oxygen in order to give life and energy to every one of us
Oxygen provides stamina for athletes, helps injuries heal, protects everyone from environmental toxins, provides fuel for the brain to function properly and helps boost the immune system to fight off infection.
Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a highly effective way of increasing the amount of oxygen in your blood to increase the beneficial effects oxygen has on your body such as:
- Increased energy and endurance
- Improved concentration and cognitive abilities
- Decreased stress and better sleeping
- Effective treatment for digestive disorders and headaches
- Faster recovery from frequent flying or long flights
- Faster recovery from injury or surgery
- Reduced feelings of depression, anger or sadness
- Relief from aching, swollen joints and muscles
- An overall feeling of healthy rejuvenation
How many sessions will I need
This is dependent on the extent of the injury or the time a chronic disease has been present. Daily sessions however, will enable the body to gain the three fold increase in the rate of healing.
The HypeO2 chamber is also a valuable treatment for those who just want to increase their general health and wellbeing and reduce stress and tiredness.
How much oxygen is in the air I breathe?
Of the 21% available oxygen in the air we breathe we actually only use 4%. Our red blood cells are responsible for transporting 97% of that oxygen, the remaining 3% travels along in the blood plasma. Our vascular system then delivers oxygen to our cells.
For anyone with a compromised circulatory system or stressed red blood cells the oxygen may have trouble reaching some cells.
What does 'Hyperbaric' mean?
'Hyper' means increased and 'Baric' refers to pressure.
Can I combine Oxygen Therapy with another treatment?
Yes. Oxygen Therapy is a fantastic treatment to combine with an Infrared Sauna, AtlasPROfilax or facial treatment. You will increase the benefits of most treatments by combining them with Oxygen Therapy.
